There are two ways to load your Wingocard parent account to allow you to send money to your teens. One way is to link a credit or debit card to your account and load money instantly. The second way is a direct deposit from your own bank account using ACH (Automated Clearing House). Check out the difference between deposits and transfers here.
Instead of linking a card, you can also use your Wingocard account information to send a deposit from your bank account. When you deposit money into your account this way, keep in mind that it will take between 3-5 business days for the funds to appear. Your bank may also charge a fee for these deposits, which can vary from bank to bank.
1. Go into your Wingocard account and view your account and routing numbers under Bank Transfer in your settings.
2. Copy the information, then login into their original bank, and hit ACH transfer.
3. Enter your information and send the deposit!
There are limits on the amount of money you can deposit into your Wingocard account. The maximum for direct deposit is $5,000 per day (24 hours), and $20,000 per month. Check out our full list of transaction and load limits here.
