There are two ways to add money to your Wingocard Parent account. As a parent, to transfer money to your teen(s), you need to load funds to your Wingocard account first.
Link your debit or credit card*
Only one card can be linked to your account at a time, though you can replace this card at any point. However, if you remove a card from your account you cannot re-add it.
- On the main screen of the Wingocard app, tap on Add money
- Enter the amount you wish to add
- Swipe to the right to confirm
- If you haven't added a debit or credit card* yet, you will be prompted to enter the card details to complete the transfer
That's it! You should receive the deposit in real time. You can now send money to your teen. Keep in mind that there are limits for how much you can load per day and month. Check out our load limits here.
*Only American debit and credit cards are accepted. Corporate cards can not be used to add funds to your account.
Direct Deposit (ACH)
To load your Wingocard account using ACH direct deposit, all you need to do is look for your Wingocard account and routing number, then use that information to send money from your own bank! For more instructions, check out our direct deposit article here.
Tip: We recommend keeping a minimum balance on your account so you can transfer to your teen right away when they need it.
